Pre-Ballet I&II

This course is designed to introduce the young dancer to the ballet classroom for the first time—teaching them general class etiquette, self-awareness, and coordination through playful tasks and games. In this course the young dancer will begin to understand their body’s relationship to space, and to those around them, while promoting the idea that ballet really is enjoyable and not rigid.
This course is also designed to introduce the older students to Pre-Ballet II by focusing more on balance, coordination, and articulation, as well as learning how to dance among other dancers. The general goal is for the young dancers in this class to begin to understand their body’s dancing capabilities through exercises and games.

This class is for 4 - 6 year olds. It takes place every Wednesday. The class lasts 50 Minutes and runs from 5:30PM to 6:20PM. Students will need Comfortable clothes and shoes to participate in the class.
